The faculty and staff at Ashley Academy believe that each student is a unique individual with talent and potential unlike that of any other student. Encouraging students to develop and display self-confidence, intellectual curiosity, creativity, moral strength, and leadership ability is primary. Students learn best in a happy, nurturing atmosphere that values individual expression and independence of thought and teaches self-discipline, responsibility, and respect for others.

A stimulating curriculum is offered in small classes. The Middle School program stresses the importance of a strong foundation in the basic tenets of learning and an appreciation for the arts.

Ashley Academy believes that parents are an integral part of the learning process. The administration and faculty solicit parent support and participation whenever possible. Close communication between home and school is invaluable, and teachers are readily available for conferences.
