A Letter from the Headmaster

Welcome!

Thank you for visiting the Ashley Academy website. If you are seeking information about private education, we welcome this opportunity to tell you about our school. Three areas set us apart from other schools: small class size, creativity and problem solving. Through the pages of this website I hope you will gain insight into what makes our school unique.

Our enrichment classes include music, art, physical education, library, foreign language and character education. We stress monthly “Awesome Ashley Attitudes” and acknowledge students who exemplify these traits.

Ashley Academy enjoys a rich legacy of educating students of different diversities and cultures. Ashley Academy was founded in 1979 by Janine Wilson. Our school began with a Montessori program and has now grown and developed into a school that includes three distinct areas: preschool, elementary and middle school. Our classes begin with three-year-olds and continue through the eighth grade.

Expectations for our students are high and we believe that a dedicated faculty and a committed, well-mannered student body work hand-in-hand to produce excellence in academics and life skills. Community service is a vital part of our school curriculum and we encourage all to give of themselves to better our world. Through different community service projects and participation in a variety of programs, our students gain confidence and personal skills that will allow them to be successful in all areas of life.

Students describe Ashley Academy as a fun place to learn with outstanding, caring teachers. We encourage life long learning in a safe, nurturing environment.

Searching for the right school for your child is exciting and after viewing our website, I hope your curiosity has been piqued. I encourage you to call our office to schedule a campus tour and an opportunity to meet our faculty and see our program in action.

Thanks again for visiting our site. I look forward to hearing from you.

Mrs. Jackie Maggard
