The Ashley Academy Parent Teacher Organization (AAPTO) has a primary goal to express teacher appreciation throughout the year with several events designed to encourage our teachers. We want to thank them for their help and show our gratitude for all the time and effort they have put in our children’s education. There are two fundraisers sponsored by the AAPTO to help support classroom needs as well as other sponsored events and services.

It’s never too late to join the AAPTO! Please print this AAPTO Membership Form 2010 and turn it into your child’s teacher or the school office. Upcoming meetings are announced in the Wednesday Weekly, on this section of the website, emailed to current PTO members and are displayed on the school sign.  Recent news regarding the AAPTO is shown below.

Current Officers: President- Annette Clemons, Secretary – Leslie Farmer, Treasurer – Jeanne Canter, and Membership Coordinator – Janice Guazzo.

Independence Day Fundraiser

The AAPTO is looking for some volunteers to help with the Independence Day parking fundraiser. The Ashley Academy parking lot is conveniently located near the grounds of the Freedom Hall Civic Center where the 25th Annual Pepsi Independence Day Fireworks Celebration will be held. If you are in town and planning on going to watch the fireworks, this would be an excellent opportunity to help Ashley Academy raise some “easy” money with which the AAPTO uses to help support our faculty through the purchase of classroom supplies or other “wish list” items. The festivities begin at 5pm on Saturday July 3rd. We would need some individuals to come by in the morning to help “rope” off our parking lot and then some volunteers to return at about 3pm to assist in parking people in our lot. Volunteers would get to park free of course! This is probably one of the easiest ways for Ashley Academy to raise money, so if you are at all interested in volunteering please contact Annette Clemons.
