3rd Grade defeats 2nd grade in a thrilling best-of-3 down to the last pitch kickball challenge.  Good fun and great sportsmanship on display for the cheering fans!

7th grader Cassandra Brooks is a finalist in the Tri-Cities “America’s Got Talent” competition to be held June 12th at the Paramount Theatre in Bristol.  Good Luck Cassandra – sing your heart out!

Congratulations to Marco Garcia for earning the DAR Good Citizenship award by showing outstanding leadership, courage, and patriotism this year!

Ashley students stole the show at the Upper East Tennessee Science Fair, bringing home three first place awards, an American Chemistry Society award, and a grand prize! Congratulations to all who participated, you should be very proud of yourselves!

Thank you to all who supported our school at the Ashley Annual Fundraising Auction “A Taste of Tuscany” held at the Holiday Inn on Saturday, April 24th.  A good time was had by all, and the funds raised will go to further improving our great school!

Ashley’s Jumprope for Heart raised $1925 for the American Heart Association.  Top money-raiser was 2nd grader Vijay Ananthula- Congratulations, Vijay!

Best of luck to Ashley’s Geography Bee winner Tori McIlquham.  Tori competes in the State Geography Bee in Nashville on April 9th.

In the annual Johnson City Chasing Snakes Race, Harriet Rollins placed first for girls and Jonathan Spitznas placed second for boys!

We also had two winners in the Monday Club Poetry Contest.  Tori McIlquham placed third in the 4th-6th grade category, and Cassandra Brooks received an honorable mention in the 7th-9th grade category!
