Ashley Academy participates in several programs to help earn extra funds throughout the year. Participating in these programs costs you nothing but lets you help the school as you make purchases.

Scrip Orders

With the great popularity of gift card programs so opens up a great opportunity for fundraising! By using a program called “Scrip” our school gets to sell gift cards and make a commission on each and every one. Orders are generally placed once a month. Order forms and gift cards are sent home with your child if requested or you can print one by clicking here. There is a one week turn-around period. The gift cards are purchased by you at face value, but the Scrip company gets a discount on them from buying in bulk. Our school gets to keep the difference. Parents use the gift cards at the retailer just like cash. It’s that easy!

This fundraiser provides something that you already want and need. The Scrip program offers cards from places that you already shop from, such as grocery stores, video stores, restaurants, and many more.

Box Tops for Education

Box Tops for Education helps schools like Ashley Academy earn cash for things they need, from books to computers to playground equipment. You can make a difference for our school every time you shop for groceries by clipping the Box Top coupons from hundreds of your favorite products and sending them to school with your child. Clipped Box Top coupons are also collected in the office. Here is a list of participating companies and their products.

Two other easy ways to earn through the Box Tops for Education program is through the Box Tops Marketplace and Reading Room. Through the Marketplace, you can shop over 70 online stores such as Oriental Trading Company, JCPenney and Lands’ End and a percentage goes back to our school. Before you place an order online, please check to see if they are a participating partner with Box Tops. With the Reading Room, you can earn cash for our school by purchasing books through Barnes & Noble.

Labels for Education

For more than 30 years, Labels for Education has been awarding free educational equipment to schools in exchange for proofs of purchase from the Campbell family of brands. It’s a fun, easy program where students, families and members of the community work together for a common goal. All you do is clip and save the UPC codes and beverage caps  from participating Campbell products, send them in to the school and then Ashley redeems the Labels for Education points for great merchandise for the school. Here is a list of eligible products.

Schoolpop

Ashley Academy is part of a program that is called Schoolpop. This program allows people that enjoy online shopping to use this program while benefiting Ashley Academy. The way the program works is for the shopper to join Schoolpop and buy items from a wide variety of vendors. There are hundreds of name brand merchants including Barnes and Noble, Buy.com, The Disney Store, and Starbucks. When you join Schoolpop and make Ashley Academy your school of choice, then Ashley Academy automatically gets $5.00. All future purchases will result in these merchants contributing a percentage of the purchase back to Ashley Academy.

Terracycle

Terracycle is finding money in what others throw away. It’s good for the planet and it’s good for the schools who Terracycle imageparticipate in the Drink Pouch Brigade. Enough drink pouches will be “upcycled” this year into other products such as backpacks and lunchboxes keeping 43 million out of landfills – enough to cover 237 football fields! One hundred thousand “upcycled” yogurt cups will become planters; stack them up and they’re as tall as twenty-four Empire State buildings. Ashley Academy has partnered with this program through Terracycle and Capri Sun to collect empty drink pouches and cookie wrappers, earning $0.02 for each. Collections are held in the school cafeteria and in the classrooms. You do help by collecting at home and during the summer. To learn how you can help, please read this!
