A Message from our Head of School
Dear Families & Friends of Ashley Academy,
December is a time to celebrate generosity, and I am continually inspired by the unselfish giving of our school community. From supporting flood victims and the family of our beloved custodian to donating food, clothing, and more, you have made a difference in countless lives both inside and outside our school.
As we approach the year's end, I invite you to extend this spirit of generosity by contributing to our Annual Fund. Our goal is to raise $200,000, and we hope to reach the halfway mark of $100,000 by December 31. We are currently at $70,000 and every gift, no matter the size, helps us get closer. As a 501(c)(3) organization, all donations are tax-deductible. You can make an online donation at ashleyacademy.factsmgtadmin.com/give/.
Thank you for your example of kindness and for helping Ashley Academy continue to thrive. Together, we can reach this milestone and invest in the future of our students and school.
Gratefully,
Ramona Harr
Head of School

When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted.0 CommentsComment on Facebook
Yesterday students, teachers, and families were able to go back in time and talk with historical figures that helped shaped the history of the world.

Students in grades 2-8th have been researching monuments/memorials, important people in TN history, TN attractions, and figures from the American Revolution. They will put their knowledge on display on Dec. 11 during our Living History Experience.
We invite you to come and listen to our students and tour through different times in history. All 2nd-8th graders are participating and our classrooms will be transformed into Ancient Greece, WWI to WWII, China and Japan, TN history, and our nation's earliest development. The event will begin in the auditorium at 9:30 AM and then you'll be able to tour at your leisure with tours ending at 11 AM.
The 2024 Geography Bee will also take place on on December 11 beginning at 8 AM in the auditorium, the top 2 students from 3rd thru 8th grades compete in our school's Geography Bee.

A Magical Day at the Johnson City Christmas Parade! 🌟🎄
We had a fantastic time participating in the Johnson City Christmas Parade, from designing and building our festive float to spreading holiday cheer throughout the community. The creativity and teamwork displayed by our students, staff, and families were truly inspiring!
Thank you to everyone who joined us, both on the float and in the crowd, for making this event a memorable one. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the season with our Ashley Academy family and the Johnson City community.
